Erasmus + grants for traineeships ( Higher degree Vocational Training) in IES Vega del Turia. Terms of the call are at the High School website and on the link before.

We are on the news! The local newspaper, "Diario de Teruel" has published an article about our students Lucia and Mariam and their experience in Eslovenia thanks to a mobilities for training Erasmus + project, organised by IES Vega del Turia. Welcome back!

        Después de un año de pandemia el IES Vega del Turia retoma las movilidades Erasmus + para prácticas en el extranjero con éxito. Nuestras alumnas del Ciclo Superior de Laboratorio, Lucía Maícas y Mariam Mebrour realizan sus prácticas FCT en el Laboratorio del Instituto Nacional de Sanidad, en Maribor, Eslovenia. 

        After a year immerse in the pandemic, IES Vega del Turia retakes the Erasmus + mobilities for internships abroad with success. Our students of the Upper Vocational training in Laboratory, Lucía Maícas and Mariam Mebrour are performing their apprenticeship period in the National Institut of Health in Maribor, Slovenia.

        Ambas están encantadas en su destino y nos cuentan que los horarios en Eslovenia son algo distintos a los españoles, van al trabajo muy temprano y comen al medio día, sobre las 11h. Nos cuentan también que es un país con un entorno natural bellísimo y que han aprovechado para visitar las maravillas naturales de Eslovenia, sus monumentos y para practicar deportes al aire libre. 

         Both students are delighted at their destination and they tell us that the timetables in Slovenia are slightly different to those in Spain. They go to work very early in the morning and they have lunch at around 11am. They also tell us that it is a country with really beautiful natural landscapes and they have taken some time to visit the natural wonders of Slovenia, its monuments and to practice sports in the open air. 

      Nuestras alumnas están compartiendo esta aventura eslovena con otros compañeros del IES Tubalcaín de Tarazona y del IES Virgen del Pilar de Zaragoza. Está siendo, nos dicen, una experiencia inolvidable que les gustaría repetir en el futuro.

       Our studens are living this Slovenian adventure together with some other students from IES Tubalcain (Tarazona) and IES Virgen del Pilar (Zaragoza). It is an unforgettable experience that they would like to repeat in the near future.

 El día 7 de Marzo nuestras alumnas participaron en una jornada online de preparación cultural junto con los alumnos de otros dos institutos de Aragón que también van a viajar a Maribor, Eslovenia, para realizar sus prácticas FCT en empresas, gracias a una beca Erasmus +. En esta reunión pudieron conocer detalles que pueden resultarles útiles sobre la vida en Eslovenia y también tuvieron la oportunidad de intercambiar impresiones, miedos y dudas con sus otros compañeros. Ha sido una buena experiencia que, si bien en años anteriores se realizó de manera presencial, no podía dejar de realizarse bajo estas circunstancias de pandemia y ha sido adaptada para poderse realizar online, previamente al viaje, de manera enriquecedora. 

On March 7th our students participated in an online cultural preparation meeting together with other students of other two Secondary Schools in Aragon who are also going to travel to Maribor, Slovenia, to perform their apprenticeship period thanks to an Erasmus + grant. At this meeting they could know some details that can be useful about life in Slovenia and they also had the opportunity to exchange ideas, fears and doubts with the other students. It has been a good experience. In previous years this meeting was celebrated face to face, and this year, it has had to be adapted to be celebrated online due to the pandemic. It has been an enriching experience. 

 Hoy hemos mantenido una reunión informativa online con las alumnas de nuestro instituto que viajarán a Eslovenia el próximo mes de abril para realizar sus prácticas Erasmus +, y los alumnos y coordinadores de otros dos centros de Aragón que realizarán sus prácticas FCT también en ese país a la vez que nosotros.

Today we had an online information meeting with the Vega students who are going to travel to Slovenia next April to work in their Erasmus+ placements and we have also met the students and Erasmus + coordinators of another two Aragonese centres that are also going to travel to Slovenia at the same time.
